Last year's show "Ornamental" was fantastic. So many of you submitted such wacky, ingenious, funny and beautiful pieces utilizing recycled materials and varied techniques. We once again invited artists of all ages to create ornaments and hanging objects for our last show of the year, "Ornamental Too." Priced reasonably, between $2 and $40 a piece, these make great original gifts and support the local economy and the artists. More...

A small installation of poetic wonderings on landscape and everyday insights about growing up by artist Elisabeth Belliveau. Made with string, drawing and found objects this installation finds its place in the corner of Roos Arts above the flat files.

For six weeks, beginning October 2nd at Roos Arts in Rosendale, twenty one artists will be exploring new ways of working and engaging in dialogue with one another, with exhibition visitors, and with the town beyond, in the latest incarnation of the Habitats for Artists (HFA) project.  In the Rosendale installation, a 6 x 6 foot shed will be erected inside the gallery space, and work generated in it will progressively populate the walls as the exhibition continues. The connecting thread of this installation, YOU ARE HERE, alludes to the ephemeral, but distinctive feeling of place mediated by individuals coming together to work toward a common goal, or in a common location, or to decide what their goals might in fact be.
